Together To Ignore Each Other

I had to take a second to snap this photo of two people walking on Main Street in Bellevue yesterday. I don't know them, if they are married or if they were even together, but it did seem ironic that they both thought that it was more important to be talking to some else rather than each other.

It makes me wonder if they were having their conversations since they left home - or if they might have actually spoken to each other on the way to the coffee shop ...
